The Staff            

The Ashland Fire Department is divided into four groups who work a rotating schedule of 24 hours on, 24 hours off, 24 hours on and 120 hours off.  All Firefighters are trained to the level of Emergency Medical Technician or Paramedic and have attended the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy Recruit Academy Course. Full-time Firefighters are members of the IAFF (International Association of Firefighters, Local 1893) and the PFFM (Professional Firefighters of Massachusetts)
