07/29/04. Engine-4 has been finished being lettered and has been delivered.
06/29/04. New Engine-4 will arrive shortly. Recently was exhibited at the Fire Chief's show held at the Big-E in Springfield, MA. Specifications to follow soon.

Vol. VI, No. 7 July 1940 issue of the "SYNCHRONUZE" the employee newsletter of Warren Telechron Company the main employer in Ashland for many, many years. Fascinating look at the fire department including pictures of the 1938 American LaFrance engine and the Packard emergency truck.

Retirement Party in February for FF Dakai, Duffy and Cleveland. Good time was had by all! Presentations made by Rep. Karen Spilka, Sen. David Magnani's Office, Ashland Police Association, Ashland Fire Association and Ashland Business Association. Special presentation made by Chief Kee to the three wife's of the retirees, thanking them for all their support through the years.

04-19-02. Possible micro-burst strikes area of High St. and Ramblelwood Drive, several homes damaged, trees down.
The department's vintage Mack fire truck was recently relocated back to the Cedar Street Fire Station where a permanent structure is to be built to protect it. The truck is due to undergo an extensive restoration.
