A major snowstorm buried Ashland in about a foot of snow causing a busy 24 hours for the Ashland Fire Department.

 

The Heavy, wet snow brought dozens of trees and wires down

A box alarm was transmitted for heavy smoke in this house on High St. The problem was found to be with an oil burner. Carbon Monoxide readings in the house reached 220 Parts Per Million which is extremely dangerous. One dog was overcome by the fumes and transported.

 

Firefighters work to make up the hoseline that was stretched as a precaution.
