The Ashland Fire Department provides Fire/Rescue and Emergency Medical Services to the citizens of Ashland 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.  There are 22 full-time personnel assigned to the Fire Department, including 16 fire-fighters, 4 full-time dispatcher/firefighters, the Chief and the Administrative/Chief's secretary.  There are 5 paid-on-call/part-time firefighters who supplement the full-time staff when called in "on the box".
