The Ashland Fire Department regretfully announces the passing of Police Officer, Patrolman Randall Pederson (Retired). Officer Pederson joined the Ashland Police Department as an Auxiliary Officer in October of 1973, volunteering his time to our community for 6 years. In June of 1979 then Auxiliary Officer Pederson was appointed as a Patrolman in the Town of Ashland. Officer Pederson served our community with distinction for 23 years retiring in September of 2002. Since his retirement Officer Pederson remained active in the community and served as a Constable for the Town of Ashland.

Officer Pederson ended his tour of duty on Friday April 6, 2007 at the young age of 59.

Our condolences to Officer Pederson's family, he will be missed.
