The Town of Ashland requires all commercial building owners who lease/sub-let in part or whole any portion of said building to another for the purpose of conducting a business to notify the Building official and Fire Department when a new tenant shall occupy said space; or when significant change(s) in the type of business being conducted by a current tenant takes place.

Said purpose of the notification is to allow the Building official and Fire Department to review and inspect for life safety hazards.
