A box alarm transmitted for a bomb scare at the Bank of America at Ledgemere Plaza on Eliot St. Cars 1 and 2, Engines 2 and 4, Rescue 1, and Ambulance 1 responded along with representatives from the Ashland Police, Massachusetts State Police Bomb Squad, State Fire Marshalls Office. The morning incident caused the evacuation of the whole strip mall. Upon investigation the scene was determined to be safe.

Ashland Firefighters Stand by as the Bomb Squad checks the building. No devices were found and the incident was terminated
Thanks to the agencies that provided assistance to the Ashland Fire Department during this incident due to lack of Manpower. Sherborn FD Provided an engine company to cover and Hopkinton FD responded to a medical emergency in town.
