American Legion Summer St

The early morning fire occurred in single degree weather. The duty crew of 3 firefighters arrived with heavy smoke showing and as they made their way across the dance floor, conditions rapidly deteriorated and the members became disoriented. Luckily all three firefighters made their way out of the building and defensive operations were begun.

Mutual Aid from many surrounding communities was called in to assist.
