A box alarm was struck for a serious MVA after a brief high speed persuit by Ashland Police. The stolen vehicle struck a tree and cartwheeled into a house. The driver was trapped and the vehicle was leaking gasoline. Members of Group 3 arrived and rapidly extricated the driver from the vehicle at great personal risk. The driver of the Vehicle was transported to UMass Medical Center in Worcester, and the two residents of the house were transported to Metrowest Medical Center Framingham Union Campus. The driver faces numerous criminal charges.
Damage from the vehicle striking the house is apparent on the exterior.
While inside the house, the damage is far more significant. Luckily the residents were not in the living room at the time of the crash.
