A box alarm was struck for the carryout of an injured hiker at Ashland State Park near Camp Winnetaska.

The patient, suffering back and internal injuries after a fall was located approximately 400-500 yards from the closest vehicle access.

Firefighters from Rescue-1, Ambulance-1, and Engine-4 carry the patient from the woods.

The patient is out of the woods and being packaged for transport.

Patient is loaded into the ambulance and is transported ALS (Advanced Life Support) to Metrowest Medical Center Framingham Union Campus.
